With p-ART-ition, art and acoustic measures accompany a safe return to the office

To gradually return to the office, EDGE asked Fokkema & Partners to revisit the design that was delivered just a year before. Thanks to the ambitious client, we were enabled to take on a positive way of looking at the nessecary safety measures and avoid using any unhealthy materials.

With p-ART-ition workbenches transform into pedestals with elegantly framed canvasses which naturally blend in to the workspace. The separations communicate culture as an expression of common ground. Moreover the experience of art intuitively guides user behaviour. Acoustic measures are integrated to increase comfort.

The EDGE HQ serves as a testing ground for new concepts and ideas. With p-ART-ition we introduced a positive take on covid measures.

The world’s First WELL Platinum V2 Certified Project

EDGE revolutionises the built environment, developing smart buildings which continue to raise the bar in terms of sustainability and wellbeing. Its headquarters on top of EDGE Olympic Amsterdam. The EDGE HQ were designed by Fokkema & Partners in 2018 and was awarded the world’s first WELL Platinum V2 Certified project. The new p-ART-itions were designed in in line with the highest WELL standards to ensure health and wellbeing.
