Flirting Functions
At De Knoop, functions intertwine as if they were always meant to be together. The service desk is no longer tucked away, but proudly visible and welcoming. An extension of the public realm. The floor once hidden beneath the restaurant is now a place you can’t help but notice. It invites spontaneous encounters: a setting where you can play chess or have an informal chat at the ping-pong table. Here, play becomes a tool for effortless connection.

Pink Energy, Green Calm
Pink stands for dynamism. It lights the way, invites movement, and sparks collaboration. From the signature bar with its metallic weave to the table adorned with repurposed buttons, the design plays with curves and lines, seamlessly connected through light and material. Vitality pulses through pouf, pulse, and passion. Three words glowing in pink neon throughout the space. They symbolize motion, energy, and expression. Mobile seating encourages dynamic use of the space, while form and color bring rhythm to the whole. Biophilic design adds balance and calm: a lush green wall makes a lively statement, and acoustic panels unfold like a mountain landscape, giving the space natural depth.

A Wink to Reuse
Where the word Oogst (Harvest) on the restaurant bar once referred to seasonal vegetables, it now cheekily nods to the harvested materials and reused furniture. De Knoop has become a place where people come together consciously. To work, meet, and inspire one another. A national meeting hub with a twist in the tale.
